PP&A, INC. WINS BID TO PROVIDE OPTICAL ROUTERS
Marina Del Rey, CA- September 22, 2005 – For the second time in less than two months, Pearce, Patterson and Associates, Incorporated has been selected from a long list of vendors to provide pre-owned Cisco Optical routers. Unlike the previous client, this system is slated for a large EF&I company operating out of the south. Executives for the EF&I company cited the ease with which they are able to work with PP&A and the timeliness of PP&A's information sharing. Another major factor was that PP&A was flexible enough to meet the restrictive financial requirements of the project. "To win this bid we had to go pretty lean on the margins. We couldn't have done that purchasing new equipment. PP&A's pre-owned equipment gave us the edge we needed to get the contract." PP&A will be providing a complete Cisco 15454 Optical Router capable of millions of transactions per second. The 15454 router will be used in a network monitoring gas lines.
