Reno, NV - April 27, 2006 – Pearce, Patterson and Associates, Incorporated has joined the Nevada Health Information Management Association as an associate member and attended the NvHIMA annual meeting in Reno, Nv. This year's annual meeting focused on the changes in Coding, legal pitfalls of coding, and the implications of proposed Personal Health Records (PHR). Gary Patterson, President and CEO of PP&A, contacted while at the event, stated, "This is huge for our Medical Services Division. The contacts that we're making here will help us to expand our transcription business into the tight-knit Nevada market. Not only that, I'm really excited about a partnership I'm working on to provide remote ChargeMaster Coding for Emergency Rooms."
